In the early 1980s, some domestic and consumer manufacturers began to imitate portal scaffolding. After 1985, 10 portal scaffolding factories had been established. However, due to different product specifications and inconsistent quality specifications of each factory, it has brought certain difficulties to the construction unit's operation and management. At the same time, because some factories use steel pipe materials and specifications that do not meet the design requirements, the rigidity of the mast is small, the weight is large, it is easy to deform during transportation and use, the processing accuracy is poor, and the service life is short, which seriously affects the implementation of this new technology. .
In the 1990s, this kind of scaffolding was not developed. Instead, it was less and less used in construction. Many gantry scaffolding factories were closed or converted, as long as a few units with good processing quality continued to consume. Therefore, it is necessary to separate the architectural characteristics of our country and develop a new type of portal tripod.
